Our Challenge

In 2011 Zionsville Christian Church began a building project called the Welcome Building Design. After careful planning and input from the membership, the design was adopted in 2015 and work was completed in 2017. The project was funded through the generosity of our church family as well as a sizable loan from the Disciples Church Extension Fund.

Since then, our renovated space has been a vital part of the ministry of ZCC.

However, some parts of the project (including updating the Fellowship Hall bathrooms) were put on hold until we could acquire sufficient funds.

Our Goal

The purpose of this campaign is to raise $300,000 over 3 yearsto reduce or eliminate the debt incurred by these renovations, saving $70,000 in loan payments. We also hope to complete the remaining remodels and prepare for future projects.

As we gather together through worship videos and Zoom chats, we remember the important role our building has played – and will continue to play – in the ministry and mission of ZCC. Lifting the burden of our debt will allow us to move ahead with confidence as we seek to become a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.

CHALLENGE GRANT: We have received a challenge grant from a couple who counts this church as a blessing in their lives. They will match each gift pledged by our participants up to $155,000. We are so very grateful for the generosity of our church family!

Third, commit. We welcome all gifts at any time during the next 3 years. Estimate of giving cards will be mailed out in the first week of May and made available online here. We would like to hear back from you! Please fill out the card, even if you cannot commit at this time. An estimate of giving is not a pledge and may be changed at any time as your circumstance changes.

Fourth, honor. Follow up on your estimate by giving starting June 1. We will send you information on how to execute your gift after we receive your estimate. You can give through the regular offering by designating your check as “Capital,” through an ACH (direct deposit), or online through Givelify.
